Refund policy
This policy sets out how cancellations, exchanges, reshipments and refunds are handled at Vi-FA.net. For international orders, this English version applies together with our Shipping Policy.
1. Cancellations
- Orders can be cancelled at the customer's request before dispatch. Once an order has been dispatched, it can no longer be cancelled, so please contact us as early as possible.
- For bank-transfer payments (available in Japan only): if payment is not confirmed within 3 business days of the order date, the order is cancelled automatically.
- If we cancel an order for our own reasons (out of stock, long-term supply delay, discontinued product, etc.), any payment already made will be refunded in full.
2. Exchange or reshipment at our expense
In the following cases we will exchange the item or reship at our expense, including shipping costs:
- Initial defect or malfunction (including parts that cannot be fitted as intended)
- Damaged or soiled products
- Loss in transit (where the carrier's investigation confirms the loss)
- Wrong item delivered (our shipping error)
Please contact us by email within 7 days of delivery. After 7 days it may become difficult to handle the issue as an initial defect.
3. Exchange or reshipment at the customer's expense
- If a package is returned to us due to an address error or because it was not collected within the carrier's holding period, the cost of reshipment is borne by the customer. For international orders, see also our Shipping Policy regarding customs charges.
- Returns for customer preference (visual impression, size, etc.) are not accepted in principle, as our products are made-to-order and 3D-printed.
4. Refunds
- Refunds are issued when we cancel an order for our own reasons; when a defective, damaged or wrongly shipped item cannot be exchanged because no replacement stock is available; or in other cases we deem appropriate.
- Refunds are made through the same payment method used for the order.
- Refund amounts are based on the product price. Where the refund is due to our fault, shipping costs and transfer fees are also covered by us. For refunds due to customer reasons, transfer fees are borne by the customer.
- Refunds are processed within 10 business days after the reason for the refund is confirmed.
5. Statutory rights
This policy does not limit the statutory non-conformity (warranty) liability under the Civil Code of Japan, nor any non-excludable consumer rights that may apply under the laws of your country of residence.
