✨ Vi-FA's first race will be held on March 9th, 2025! ✨
On March 9th, we held the memorable first Vi-FA Cup!
The venue was TM Circuit . This time, the monthly race was held under the Vi-FA banner, and many people participated.
🌞 The weather is great! But there's a strong wind... 💨
It was a beautiful sunny day! ...or so I'd like to say, but strong winds blew at times, and dust and pollen hit the car and our eyes directly .
The conditions were such that it was as if they were saying, "This is the true joy of an outdoor race!" (laughs) However, despite the many bad weather days recently, the day before and the day of the race were sunny, and racing under blue skies was fantastic!
🚗 The event was a huge success, surpassing our expectations! Over 50 participants entered 🎉
This race will be held in three categories: TC1 class, TC2 class, and Tamiya Challenge class .
A heated battle unfolded with the special trophy at stake!
Regarding the special trophy we prepared this time, Kazushige, the owner of TM Circuit, advised us that "there are many people who are working the hardest, even in the 4th place and below," so we quickly decided to prepare a trophy for the top 10 people instead of 1st to 3rd place. 🏆🔥
As a result, some people were determined to win a trophy in one of their classes, and made two or even three entries 😆 There were also some people who entered strategically with the goal of winning in one of the classes if they participated this many times, which made the excitement of the race even more intense!

🔥 A hectic race schedule! An unexpected emergency entry?!
The morning started with three practice sessions for each class, followed by three qualifying sessions and then the final.
I had planned to mainly support customers, so I wasn't planning on participating in the race, but thanks to a kind arrangement by the store manager, Kazushige, I was suddenly able to participate in the TC2 class! 😲 I didn't even have time to cut the body, so the store manager cut it for me, and I couldn't adjust the alignment, so the customer helped me out. 💦 It was a hectic race, but thanks to everyone, I had a great time! 🎶
🛍️ Vi-FA products are also on sale! Sold out!
We also brought our own products to the venue and sold them! Some customers bought them immediately , and some items sold out! It was a huge success!
However, there were also some customers who said, "I couldn't find what I wanted..." 💦 We will prepare more products next time, so thank you for your continued support!
🏆 Behind the scenes of the handmade trophy… unexpected struggles 🕒
This time we have prepared 10 trophies for each class, for a total of 30 trophies🏆
However, this was much more difficult than I imagined !
The trophies for first through third place are slightly larger and printed in gold, silver, and bronze.
All other colored parts are not painted, but multicolor printed.
The items that came in first to third place have metal weights inside to give them a more substantial feel.
This is achieved by stopping printing midway, adding a weight, and then printing again.
It took more than 20 hours to make one piece, and we had a lot of equipment problems, so we ended up printing until the early hours of the morning on the day itself. However, from next time onwards, I would like to put what I learned into practice in a more planned manner.

As this was the first time we held the event, we may have had some shortcomings, but the fact that so many people participated and we were able to hear so many opinions and requests directly was the greatest benefit for us.
